LATEST REGIONAL WEATHER DISCUSSION...
WEDNESDAY 21 MAY 2025. UPDATED 5:00 AM NDT / 3:30 AM AST
|
Improvment ahead..
A northeasterly flow will dominate again today as a slow-moving area of low pressure slowly departs to the east of Newfoundland. The associated marine influence will keep skies cloudy over northern areas with areas of rain or drizzle. Locations further south are expected to remain milder and drier, with occasional breaks in the cloud.
A widepread clearing trend will gradually follow overnight into Thursday as a ridge of high pressure builds southeastwards across Labrador. Fair weather will continue on Friday with temperatures rising to slightly above seasonable values.
