Persistent pattern..
A northeasterly flow will dominate again today and Wendesday as a slow-moving area of low pressure passes south of Newfoundland. The associated marine influence will keep skies cloudy over northern areas with areas of showers or drizzle. Locations further south are expected to remain milder and drier, with occasional breaks in the cloud. Noticable change is unlikely until later Wednesday night into Thursday.

High winds. Winds are higher than forecast and are still NNE gusting over 40 knots in Blanc Sablon. Docking in Blanc Sablon will be delayed until winds decrease. The 3:30 P.M. departure from St. Barbe tomorrow. May 21st, is a dangerous goods crossing. Passenger space will be limited.
