Variable weather...
After a period of fair skies over some areas this evening, clouds will gradually return tonight into Wednesday as an area of low pressure approaches Labrador from the west. A round of showers, along with gusty southwesterly winds, is expected as a cold front associated with this system crosses the region Wednesday night. Conditions will improve behind the front on Thursday, though lingering low cloud, drizzle and coastal fog may be slow to retreat from areas exposed to onshore southwesterly flow.
